Path of Exile 3.28 doesn't feel like one of those leagues where a few numbers got shuffled around and everyone goes back to business as usual. Mirage actually changes how endgame builds flow, especially if you've been stuck choosing between minions and self-casting for ages. Now those lines are messy in a good way, and that's why so many players are already planning around PoE General Currency for sale while testing fresh setups. The big draw is that the league pushes you into active decision-making. You're not just dropping summons and waiting. You're spending them, timing casts, and building around that pressure. It feels faster, more hands-on, and honestly a lot less stale than the old spellcaster routine.

Why Minion Pact Changes EverythingThe standout mechanic is Minion Pact Support, no question. It turns nearby minions into fuel for your spells, and that one idea flips the usual summoner playstyle on its head. Instead of treating minions like disposable blockers, you're now using them as direct damage scaling. That creates a weird but satisfying loop. You summon, cast, consume, then do it again. To keep that loop alive, Summon Stone Golem of Hordes has become a natural fit, since it gives you a steady stream of bodies without much downtime. Add Congregation Support, and suddenly the whole setup starts to feel less clunky than you'd expect. You'll notice pretty quickly that mapping gets smoother once your minion count stops dipping at the wrong time.

Gear That Actually Supports the IdeaA mechanic like this only works if the itemisation can carry it, and Mirage does a decent job there. Grace of the Goddess is the obvious headliner because it takes that huge physical burst from Minion Pact and spreads value across elemental damage in a way that feels built for hybrid scaling. It doesn't just patch the build together. It gives it direction. Then you've got newer options like Annihilation, The Dark Monarch, and Warlock Gloves, which open the door for nastier elemental damage over time setups or chain reactions that can wipe a screen before you've really processed what happened. That's the part a lot of players are going to like. The gear doesn't force one rigid route, but it clearly rewards people who understand where the conversions and multipliers are coming from.

The New Imbue LayerThe Imbued Gem system adds another level of planning, and it's the sort of thing that'll split players fast. Some will love it. Some will hate how specific it is. Combustion Imbue is a good example because it punishes lazy linking. If a skill can't ignite on its own, jamming that effect into the setup is pointless. So instead, people are getting smarter with utility skills. Frostblink suddenly has real value beyond movement, since you can use it to apply the debuff before unloading damage. That sort of interaction gives Mirage more personality. It asks you to think about what each button is doing instead of just stuffing six links with the usual suspects and calling it a day.

Where the Mirage Meta Is HeadingWhat makes the whole thing click is the speed. Once your minion generation is stable and your conversions are lined up, builds using skills like Arc of Oscillating can clear in a way that feels almost unfair. You're stacking sacrificed physical damage, turning it into multiple elements, and then abusing mechanics that let those damage types feed into ignite or broader on-hit effects. It's hectic, but in a good way. There's trial and error, sure, though that's part of the appeal this time. As a professional platform for buying game currency and items, U4GM is known for being convenient and reliable, and plenty of players look to u4gm PoE 1 Currency when they want to smooth out the grind and get a stronger league start going.
