If you've been in Diamond Dynasty at all this week, you can feel the shift right away. A normal Supercharged drop is already enough to shake up lineups, but seven full days changes how people build their squads and spend their MLB 26 stubs. It's not just a fun little bonus anymore. It actually gives you time to plan around it. Munetaka Murakami and Paul Skenes aren't just usable for a quick burst either. They're the kind of cards you can lean on in Ranked, Events, and even those long Conquest runs where you just want clean, easy wins without messing around.

Murakami changes the middle of the order
Murakami is the one you notice first because the damage shows up fast. Put him in the heart of the lineup and pitchers have to deal with it. Against righties, he's crushing anything left in the zone, especially pitches that leak inside. You don't need to do too much with him, and that's probably the best part. A lot of players start forcing power swings when a card gets boosted like this. Don't. His regular swing is more than enough. Stay patient, let the count develop, and when someone misses over the plate, it's gone. Even against left-handed pitching, he's not some automatic bench move. During this boost, his bat still plays, and you'll notice he's a lot more stable than people expect.

Skenes is at his best when you slow down
Skenes looks ridiculous on paper, but he's even nastier if you pitch with a little restraint. Yeah, the four-seamer is the headline pitch. Everybody knows that. Everybody wants to throw it at 102 over and over. That works for an inning or two against weaker hitters, then it starts getting dangerous. The better move is to make everything come off the fastball. High heat early, then slider off the same lane. Mix in the off-speed stuff just enough to keep timing messy. With the boosted H/9 and K/9, your opponent's PCI gets tiny, so weak contact shows up a lot if you're not predictable. His stamina matters too. In Ranked, that saves your bullpen and lets you stay aggressive later in the game.

Best ways to use the boost this week
If you're grinding Events, these two are basically built for that mode. Murakami can flip a three-inning game with one swing, and Skenes can cover most of the game by himself. That combo is perfect when every run matters and there's no time to settle in. They're also great for Parallel XP, maybe better than people realize. When a card is this juiced, the stat missions sort of take care of themselves. Hits pile up. Strikeouts come easy. If either card was already in your binder, this is the week to spam games and stack progress instead of letting the timer tick away while they sit unused.

Don't let the week go to waste
The market always reacts when a boost like this lands, and this one hit hard. Prices move, people rush to buy, and suddenly cards that were sitting quietly matter again. If you already own them, great, just get them on the field. If not, paying extra can still make sense if you're going to use them every day. That's really the whole point. A seven-day boost only has value if it actually helps you win games, finish programs, and keep pace with the current MLB The Show 26 roster while the advantage is still there, because once the boost is gone, that easy edge goes with it.
